Born in Melbourne, I have lived there all my life, except for a year in Germany, and am now studying at the University of Melbourne.
I first downhill skied at age 3, and started cross-country skiing in 2002. In 2008 I decided my downhill racing career was never going to come to anything, so switched to XC racing and qualified for the Victorian Junior Squad. A trip to Lake Tahoe California with the squad in 2011 got me inspired to take skiing seriously, and I was in the Australian Team for 7 years, culminating in the World Championships in Lahti, Finland in February 2017. I retired from elite skiing at the end of that competition.
I am now studying law after my arts degree, and have started running ultramarathons, although less seriously than I was skiing! I still do the odd ski race, including representing my university at Australian University Games.
